Our Story
Total Tree Care was founded to serve the Twin Cities community with expert tree care backed by real credentials and genuine expertise. What started as a commitment to professional, science-based arboriculture has grown into a full-service tree care company serving Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the surrounding metro area.

"Minnesota has always been home to me," Seth says. "I've worked in other states and I love the trees here in Minnesota as opposed to some other states."
Seth Mason leads Total Tree Care with something most certified arborists in Minneapolis can’t claim: four generations of tree care running through his veins. He’s been working alongside family in this trade since elementary school, learning the craft from his father the way his father learned it before him.
Those early years weren’t just about watching. Seth has vivid memories of working at 1 or 2 in the morning, cleaning up storm damage with his dad — the kind of hands-on experience that textbooks can’t teach. That foundation shaped his approach to tree care: get the job done right, get it done safely, and get it done efficiently.
Today, Seth brings that same work ethic to every job Total Tree Care takes on. As an ISA Certified Arborist, he combines generations of practical knowledge with the science-based standards that define professional arboriculture.
